Recommend how I should vote
Have you guys thought about trying to reduce some of the work on the part
of the user by collecting voter preferences and then generating
recommendations on each bill (a la isidewith.com)? Democracy just seems
too complicated these days for each voter to do all the work themselves,
and outsourcing the process seems like a great way to increase voter

We should be promoting critical thinking. Laziness got us in this mess to begin with.
Why would you encourage laziness and a mindless lack of decision maiking on an app that so readily provides a platform to encourage engagement and independent thought. If you want to be told how to vote, go to Facebook- a thousand people will suggest to you how to vote. As it is people already tend to vote based in the headline and the first two opinions they read rather than reading the overview hidden at the bottom of the page. I don't think having someone whom I don't know, or a logarithm that is trying to evaluate raw data, try and tell me what I should want is a very effective way of using the app.
