WE need basic FACTUAL information about immigration before we can weigh in on specific legislation.
WE need basic factual information about immigration before we can weigh in on specific legislation. For example, how many green cards do we issue every year? how many guest worker visas? How many illegal immigrants are here now? how many new ones are coming? How many have already been legalized? What does it cost taxpayers, when the majority are working in low wage jobs which make them eligible for many means tested programs? With stagnant wages, increasing mechanization, and outsourcing-- does it make sense to continue to import foreign job seekers? Please give us facts and numbers!
Great feedback. You’ve hit on a major need and something we’d love to build.
How do you recommend we do it? Are you envisioning something like wikipedia or something else?
